The winner of the comics assignment of the ESF Academy::

The comics of Rudolfas Vigneris, a student of Grade 3of Anykščiai Jonas Biliūnas Gymnasium, who won the comics assignment of the ESF Academy.

 

 

Development of the system for the discovery and fostering of students-young scientists

This project is pursued jointly by the Students Information and Technical Creation Centre of Lithuania and the Lithuanian Young Naturalists Centre. The project aims at discovering and fostering young talents, developing non-formal education and training system, and providing young researchers with conditions for pursuing their interests and creating.



Expanding academic field options for students aged 14–19 years

Students of schools involved in this project will learn according to the experimental model of education. The project aims at making classes more interesting and attractive for students, thus contributing to the improvement of quality of their learning. Thirty Lithuanian schools are involved in the project.


 

Modernisation of schools of general education

The implementation of this project will result in the modernisation of workplace of teachers and their equipment with high technologies and modern furniture, and create conditions to use information and media facilities and high technologies. 454 national schools of general education participate in the project.

Development of the open system of information, consultation and guidance (AIKOS)

The essence of this project – to provide information to education and research institutions, employers, potential students and other persons, which would help them make a decision, e.g. choose where to study, etc. Internet access: www.aikos.lt


 

Establishing of the sectorial practical training centre of engineering industry

The sectorial practical training centre of engineering industry (metal, metalworking and mechatronics) is expected to be established in Vilnius Vocational Education and Training Centre of Technology and Business, where one can learn an occupation, enhance qualifications, etc.


 

Establishing of the sectorial practical training centre of railway specialists

Vilnius Vocational School of Railway and Business Services is the sole vocational school, and Vilnius College and Technologies and Design is the sole higher non-university education institution that train railway and logistics specialists. These two schools will jointly establish the sectorial practical training centre of railway specialists equipped with new equipment and modern laboratories.
